The concept “Eco –fresh” was derived from the inspiration by the Company promoters to contribute towards the promotion, maintenance of a clean and a healthy environment within which we live. ”Eco” stands for the ecosystem which can be described as a system involving the interaction between a community of living organisms (plants, animals and microbes) in a particular area and its environment (water, air and mineral soil). The promoters of ECO-FRESH SOLUTIONS LIMITED look forward to a harmonious interaction of the two life components hereby represented by the term “fresh”.
The rising quality of life, population growth and high rates of resource consumption patterns have led to unintended and negative consequences on the environment in terms of waste generation in big volumes that are beyond the disposal capacity of urban authorities. Industrialization and economic growth has produced more amounts of waste, including hazardous and toxic wastes. Cities and towns are currently faced with problems of high levels of waste generation and high waste disposal costs thus a need for appropriate methodologies and technologies to address the situation.
The establishment of ECO-FRESH SOLUTIONS LIMITED was premised on the need for the private sector to supplement efforts of urban authorities towards waste management. In an effort to promote and maintain a healthy environment ECO-FRESH SOLUTIONS LIMITED provides an integral service package at affordable rates which other than waste management also includes; Fumigation/pest control, general cleaning, landscaping and compound maintenance.
It is our policy not to compromise on professionalism in the course of our service delivery by having all departments comprised of experienced and professional staff and we endeavor to serve our clients with utmost care. We have a feedback system intended to encourage our clients to make suggestions and or to register their complaints and compliments. ECO-FRESH Solutions Ltd aims at achieving a number of objectives. These include among others :
- Sensitizing the community about appropriate garbage or waste
collection and disposal practices; - Providing logistical solutions for collecting and disposing of Municipal
Solid Waste while protecting human life and the environment; - Providing state-of-the-art pest control services as a means of combat-
ing diseases and infections posed by insects and pests; - Working with other development partners to ensure appropriate
garbage collection and waste management practices; - Contributing towards employment opportunities for the unem-
ployed Ugandans.
